📄 Sketlix – Digital Asset License Agreement
This License Agreement (“Agreement”) defines the terms and conditions under which digital assets available on Sketlix may be used. These assets include, but are not limited to, 2D characters, illustrations, backgrounds, props, design elements, and related digital files.
By purchasing, downloading, or using any digital product from Sketlix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this License Agreement.
1. Definitions
For clarity, the following terms shall have the meanings described below:
- “Sketlix” refers to the digital marketplace operating at sketlix.com.
- “Asset” refers to any digital file including characters, backgrounds, illustrations, or design elements.
- “Licensee” refers to the individual or entity purchasing or downloading the asset.
- “Licensor” refers to Sketlix, the owner or distributor of the digital asset.
- “Commercial Use” refers to any usage intended for monetary gain, promotion, or business activity.
2. Ownership & Intellectual Property Rights
All digital assets available on Sketlix are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- Sketlix retains full ownership and copyright of all assets.
- Purchasing an asset does not transfer ownership to the buyer.
- The buyer is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the asset as per the selected license type.
Unauthorized reproduction, resale, or redistribution of assets is strictly prohibited.
3. Personal / Standard License
The Personal License is intended for individual, non-commercial use.
✅ Permitted Uses
- Personal creative projects and practice work
- Educational use, including school and college assignments
- Non-monetized YouTube videos and personal content
- Social media posts without paid promotions or advertisements
❌ Prohibited Uses
- Selling, sharing, or redistributing the asset in any form
- Uploading assets to free or paid download platforms
- Using assets in paid applications, games, NFTs, or products
4. Commercial License
The Commercial License allows the use of assets for business and monetized purposes.
✅ Permitted Uses
- Monetized YouTube channels and video content
- Client projects, freelance work, and agency services
- Advertisements, brand promotions, and marketing materials
- Modification of assets for final creative output
❌ Restrictions
- Assets may not be resold as standalone files
- Assets may not be bundled or repackaged for redistribution
- Assets cannot be registered as trademarks or logos
5. Extended / Exclusive License
The Extended License is suitable for large-scale, high-reach, and exclusive usage.
✅ Permitted Uses
- Television, OTT platforms, films, and broadcast media
- Paid courses, webinars, and professional training programs
- Unlimited audience reach, impressions, and revenue
🔒 Exclusive Rights
- Exclusive licenses may limit future resale of the same asset
- Sketlix reserves the right to remove or restrict assets after exclusive purchase
6. Usage Restrictions (All Licenses)
Regardless of license type, the following restrictions apply:
- Assets may not be used for AI training, datasets, or machine learning models
- Assets may not be redistributed, shared, or sublicensed
- Assets may not be used in defamatory, illegal, or harmful content
Violation of these terms may result in license termination without refund.
7. Refund Policy (License Related)
- Refunds are applicable only in case of verified technical issues
- No refunds are provided for incorrect license selection
- Once an asset has been downloaded, refunds may be restricted

8. Termination of License
Sketlix reserves the right to suspend or terminate any license if:
- License terms are violated
- Assets are misused or redistributed
- Fraudulent activity is detected
Upon termination, all usage rights must cease immediately.
9. Legal Jurisdiction
This License Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
